Circuit City recently announced that they would be laying-off 3,400 workers and “giving them” the opportunity to re-apply for their jobs. The new jobs however will be at a much lower wage. This is an outrageous anti-worker attack that must be answered.

Hundreds to Protest Minutemen Leader Speaking at NYU.
In response to the presence of Chris Simcox, founder and leader of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, as a speaker at a College Republicans' event being held at New York University (NYU), hundreds of students, labor leaders, and immigrant organizers will rally outside of NYU's Kimmel Center to speak-out against the Minutemen and in favor of immigrant rights.
