Steps you can take to help build May 1st

• Endorse the event
  Your endorsement, as an organization or individual will help show the broad reach of support for the May Day action. Endorse here. For a list of endorsers, please see the Endorsers page.

• Organize a meeting or event that helps build for May 1st

  Tell us about it in the bottom portion of the Endorse form, and we can add it to our calendar (under construction).

  Annouce the May 1st event at all your meetings. Union halls, student organizations, classrooms, churches, temples, mosques, are all great places to raise awareness and visibility for May 1st.

• Distribute fliers and stickers:
  

  • Download and print your own.
    Feel free to use our fliers on the back of your own organization's fliers. Printing your own fliers will help us offset our printing costs. Distribute fliers or place stickers in any appropriate place, such as in your organization, store, neighborhood, or on the streets.

  • Pick up fliers and stickers from our offices.
    Feel free to pick up fliers from our offices. Large quantities of color copies of the English/Spanish double-sided fliers are available. Other fliers are available in B&W.

• Please donate to the May 1st Coalition.
  Donations are needed for various aspects of building for the May 1st rally and march. Expenses include but are not limited to: printing fliers and stickers, renting stage equipment, filing for permits, producing banners, signs and more.

• Translate fliers/stickers and distribute to specific language communities
  Fliers are currently available in English, and Spanish. If you have the ability to have any literature translated, your help is welcome. You do not need any technical expertise. Please contact the flier committee at alexmnyny@yahoo.com so that we can coordinate translations.
